Fuel burnt, leg by leg
Each leg can have its own speed. The fuel burnt follows the vessel's own speed and consumption figures, for the main engine and the auxiliaries, at sea and in port, including any waiting time.
Slow steaming on one leg and a faster leg after it are each costed as sailed.
Priced by fuel grade
Split the consumption over the fuel grades the vessel uses, such as VLSFO, MGO or HSFO, each at its own price, and the bunker cost of the voyage follows. A bunker margin can be added for safety.
