Port charges, call by call
After bunkers, port costs are often the largest cost of a liner voyage. Stowlines prices each call from the port tariff, with every charge listed: port dues, pilotage, towage, berthing and unberthing, mooring, berth hire, light dues and agency fees, with anchorage and port stay charges where the tariff has them.
Charges on GRT, NRT, LOA and TEU
Port tariffs charge in different ways, and the calculator follows them: on the vessel's GRT, NRT, LOA or TEU, as progressive or slab-based rates, by the hour or day of the stay, with weekend and public holiday surcharges where the tariff has them.
So the same call costs what the tariff says for that vessel on those dates, without working through the tariff book by hand.
