How do I work out a vessel's bunker requirement?
Bunker planning shows the vessels calling your bunker ports with the voyage's fuel figures, and you set the grade and quantity for each call.
Do our vendors need an account?
No. Each vendor gets a secure link by e-mail to quote, and later to confirm or decline the award.
Can we buy under contract and on the spot?
Yes. Each requirement is marked spot or contract, and each contract shows what is planned against it and the balance.
Who makes the decision?
You do. The quotes are ranked and one is recommended with its reasons; choosing another simply asks for a remark.
What happens after the award?
The vendor confirms or declines from the e-mail, and the purchase order is ready to download as a PDF.
Does it use the vessels and voyages we already have?
Yes. Bunker planning works on the same vessels, voyages and ports as the schedule and the Voyage Estimator.
